I would like to request information relating to handwritten postal code.

It is where you can handwrite a code on a letter and use it in place of a stamp.

I am writing in response to your correspondence requesting "information
relating to handwritten postal codes, as well as any plans or
investigations regarding this topic" which we are treating as a request
for information under the Official Information Act 1982.

We do however provide a reply paid service which is close to what you have
requested in your OIA request.
