ANPR Tracking - was Auror and vGRID (VIBE) suppressed from criminal disclosure?

M B made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was refused by New Zealand Police.

From: M B

Dear New Zealand Police,

Auror has been in use since the 4th of April 2018 at the latest, (https://fyi.org.nz/request/21129/respons...) was Auror redacted, omitted, or suppressed from criminal disclosure at any time after it was introduced (including its trial period)?

By redacted, omitted, or suppressed I mean either in whole or in part. For instance, was there guidance to withhold certain aspects of the system, or an approved guideline of what could be included in disclosure or warrant applications?

Please provide all documentation relating to this question. This may take the form of guidance materials or communications between the first registered users on the platform.

I also seek the same material in reference to vGRID (VIBE).

Yours faithfully,
Mason.

Complaint made. This request would take a matter of minutes given that the Police have just conducted a review of every Auror & vGRID search (https://www.police.govt.nz/about-us/prog...). It would take them a matter of minutes to identify a query from early on, then check the disclosure index or warrant applications within the digital investigation file.
