Dear New Zealand Police,
I am a New Zealand Permanent Resident, and I have information I require.

I wish to know what training the New Zealand Police have received from

The Israeli Police (or its predecessor agency),
The Israeli Ministry of National Security (or its predecessor agency) or
The Israeli Defence Force (or its predecessor agency),

from January 1, 2000 to the present day.

Specifically, I want to know the following:

• When have sworn Police Officers been sent to Israel to receive training from the above mentioned agencies?
• How many sworn Police Officers have been sent to Israel for training?
• What was the nature of the training they received?
• How many New Zealand sworn Police Officers have been trained as instructors in Israeli policing methods?
• Have Israeli Police or Israeli Defence Force personnel come to New Zealand to instruct New Zealand worn Police Officers in Israeli policing methods?
• If so, when were these training sessions held, and how many New Zealand sworn Police Officers were trained?
• What was the nature of the training they received?
