Dear Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children,

Under the OIA please provide the following:

As per 1News Matthew Tukaki states the following

"We've been given some advice about how to submit invoices about pro-rata’d hourly rates of payments and it wasn't just me, it was overpayments to all of our board members
Tukaki says there was incorrect advice and no induction from Oranga Tamariki.

As such please provide the advice and any instructions given to Matthew Tukaki and his fellow board members around invoicing, this should include the “incorrect advice” as stated by Mr Tukaki and the corrected advice.

Please provide all correspondence including but not limited to emails, texts and phone logs related to the over charging of $60,000 by Mr Tukaki inclusive of dates of discovery, internal emails, and any Ministers that were copied into correspondence.

On his own Facebook page (video) Mr Tukaki claims his $60,000 invoice was made up from the work he did prior to starting his role. As such, please provide a copy of the invoices that were submitted and subsequently paid back and the dates these invoices covered.

Please provide all correspondence relating to Mr Tukaki’s resignation, including but not limited to emails, texts, records of phone calls etc.

Please provide all correspondence between Oranga Tamariki and Minister Kelvin Davis concerning the over-charging by Mr Tukaki or any other board members.
