In response to your Official Information Act (OIA) request received on 1

2) Any COVID-19 vaccine in the blood is broken down soon after the
injection.
3) All donated blood also gets filtered during processing, any trace
amounts that may still be present poses no risk to recipients."

 

We are aware of no scientific papers, nor any reports from clinicians,
that have identified any known or suspected negative effects of
transfusion that relate specifically to prior vaccination of the donor by
any Covid-19 vaccine.

There are two public-access papers that look at levels of post-vaccine
spike protein and mRNA in humans.  Each demonstrates exceptionally low
levels using ultra-sensitive techniques.

Blood components have routinely been leucocyte reduced by filtration for
two decades, this removes circulating white blood cells (WBCs).  WBCs are
integral to immune response to vaccines, including to COVID-19.
