Taraika Subdivision's impact on Levin's Water Supply

Dear Horowhenua District Council,

We are currently under level 1 water restrictions here in the Levin.
The restrictions are due to flows in the Ōhau River dropping below 2500 litres per second and town water demand at above 10,000 cubic metres per day.
(It is not even Summer Yet)

What is Horowhenua District Council's plan in regards to providing water to the new Taraika subdivision that is going to be developed?

Will there be sufficient Water for Levin residents In the future if we are already experiencing water restrictions prior to this development being built?
