Dear Ms Buckingham,

I refer to your official information request dated 25 October 2022 asking
for information relating to infrastructure investment in the Bastia Hill
area.

The information you have requested is as follows.

* Can Council confirm whether any investment or upgrade has been made to
three waters and footpath infrastructure in the Bastia Hill area since the
2017/2018 financial year.

Footpath Infrastructure

Since the 2017/2018 financial year investment comprised concrete repairs,
totalling approximately 19.1 square metres to Wairere Road (February 2020)
and 18.5 square metres to Bastia Avenue (November 2019).

Stormwater and Wastewater

No investments or upgrades have been made in this area over this time,
only routine maintenance activities.

Potable Water

There have been no water supply upgrades in this area, over this time. The
last major capital works programme was to the Ikitara Road pump station.

*Can council confirm whether any investment or upgrade to the three waters
and footpath infrastructure in the Bastia Hill area is planned?

Footpath Infrastructure

There are no renewals recorded (or planned for in the most recent forward
works programme to the Bastia Hill area). However, the next footpath
network condition survey is planned for February 2023, which will inform
and update forward works at a network level accordingly.

Stormwater and Wastewater

There are no planned investments or upgrades.

Potable Water

There are no planned investments or upgrades. Future projects will be
based on the criticality model and will be planned within the LTP.
