Thank you for your Official Information Act request where you have said “I
would like the operaters manul and study guid for the Type 4 heavy pump
aireal truck."

 

Though we have identified a study guide likely in-scope of your request,
there are administrative issues with providing copies of Operation
Manuals. This is because only hardcopies exist, and they are found on the
stations where the Type 4 appliances are based. To arrange for a softcopy
to be provided will likely take significant time and resource. What
further presents a challenge is the stations in which these appliances are
generally based are currently undergoing industrial action which further
limit our ability to make this information available.

 

But to assist with our assessment as to how we will respond to your
request, can you advise which Operation Manual for a Type 4 appliance you
specifically require. Are you requesting the Operation Manual for the
truck itself (including the aerial function), or the Operation Manual that
covers off things like the pump, foam systems etc?

 

Once we receive your response, we can assess the feasibility of providing
the requested information to you.
