NPDC Town Water Supply and Infrastructure Costs

Dear New Plymouth District Council (NPDC),
I am writing to request all information to which I am entitled under section 12 of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) (The Act).
Please find below my OIA request, which relates to NPDC's water supply and infrastructure regards reticulated water supply and wastewater treatment.
Please provide copies of:
1. NPDC’s vision to create a Sustainable lifestyle Capital, and its five community outcomes;
2. NPDC’s Resource Efficiency and Emissions internal Policy;
3. NPDC’s twelve Asset Management Objectives, and the He Puna Wai Principals;
4. Confirm current NPDC consent to which you are able to draw the rivers down to ?% of the MALF (seven-day Mean Annual Low Flow);
5. List NPDC’s potable water supplies;
6. Provide details of NPDC’s complete water Infrastructure;
7. Provide details of treatment plants;
8. List treatment plant(s) outages for the past 8 years by year and plant;
9. Provide details of replacement electromechanical equipment of the water treatment plants for the past 8 years;
10. Provide details of minor public works (improvement works) to rehabilitate the treatment plants and their surroundings;
11. Provide details of allocations for consumables to ensure uninterrupted operation of the treatment plants (chemicals, fuels for backup generators);
12. Provide details of each treatment plants and what are their maximum capacities and what are they currently being run at;
13. Provide details of any privatization policies regards any aspect of water supply and water infrastructure;
14. Provide details of what types of technology for water storage and energy are currently used by NPDC;
15. List capital expenditure, capital costs of water supply infrastructure for the past 8 years;
16. Provide accurate and reliable data which shows both council and consumers where water is being used and how our consumption can be reduced;
17. Provide information that demonstrates NPDC’s program to reduce water consumption;
18. How does NPDC expect to reduce cost, protect and enhance the natural environment and cultural and community values of the water sources;
19. Regards the Politics of water, please provide what critical water studies NPDC has undertaken or received from third parties in the past 8 years.
I understand that under the act, I am entitled to a response within 20 days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request.
