Dear New Plymouth District Council,

I am writing to request all information to which I am entitled under section 12 of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) (The Act).

1. I would like to know the unplanned and gross staff turnover rate for NPDC down each of the branch/department areas for the financial years 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 (to date).

2. Also, can you please provide information for the past 12 months the staff turnover as a percentage for the following business units:

a. The Office of the Chief Executive (CE)
b. The Mayor's Office
c. Governance
d. City Growth and Partnerships
e. Finance (CFO)
f. Strategy and External Relations
g. Operations (COO)
h. Assets (CAO)
i. Human Resources

3. In addition, can I please have:

a. The number of FTE's that are hired in Communications generally
b. The number of FTE's that are hired in Communications within the Mayor's Office
c. The current number of contractors/third parties that NPDC has engaged by area as above (2a to 2i).

I understand that under the act, I am entitled to a response within 20 days. I would be grateful if you could confirm in writing that you have received this request. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Good evening,

Whilst i await the reply to my initial OIA can i also include as at 25th July 2022;

1. Details of total number of staff at NPDC. Breakdown from total to include number within each department/section/area.
2. How many positions are currently filled by 3 waters posts and how many positions are proposed for the 3 waters work area.
3. Which companies do you use to advertise job vacancies.
4. How many job vacancies where listed for 2019, 2020, 2021 & 2022 thus far.
