Further to our acknowledgement of your Official Information request below, this is to advise Stats NZ is currently consulting with the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) to determine whether they would accept a transfer of your request.

Unfortunately, I have been advised by our Subject Matter area we do not hold the exact data you are after, and for this reason, we must refuse your request under section 18(e) of the Act.

This is to confirm Stats NZ has transferred your request to the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA), as the information in which your request relates to is not held by us but by DIA. In these circumstances, we are required by section 14 of the Official Information Act to transfer your request.
