Thank you for your Official Information Act request. This is
an automatic reply to let you know we received it.

In accordance with the Act, we'll let you know our decision within no more
than 20 working days. If you'd like to calculate the timeframe, you can
use the Ombudsman's online calculator

regularly updates information about the COVID-19 situation and publishes
OIA responses considered to be of public interest:

Please also refer to the Unite Against Covid-19 website for copies of
papers, minutes, and key advice for the decisions the Government has made
relating to COVID-19.

Sometimes we may need to clarify aspects of a request. You can expect to
hear from us soon if that is the case here.

Kia ora Sarah

Thank you for your request to the Ministry of Health (the Ministry) on 9
March 2022 for:

 1.  All meeting minutes where vaccine workplace mandates were on the
agenda, discussed and agreed. These are from any relevant government
department.

As is stands, the information that you have requested would likely require
a substantial amount of time to collate and would involve a search for
this information manually across a number of teams within the Ministry. We
anticipate this would take longer than the 20 working day requirement
under the Act. If you are please able to refine your request to formal
written advice (briefings and aides memoire) that the Ministry of Health
provided to the Minister for COVID-19 Response regarding the vaccination
order, this will cover the the information you have requested and make
more manageable. Can you provide a timeframe for your request?

Additionally, can you please clarify as to whether are you seeking
information about a particular aspect of the workplace mandates (i.e.
education, healthcare, border workers)?

We look forward to receiving your response by 28 March 2022

Kind regards,

Ngā mihi
