Query about departing NZ after applying RV21 for holidays and be able to return after April 12( Step 3).

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
Could you please confirm that after applying RV21 can I leave the country for holidays anytime now and come back after 12th of April 2022 on a valid work Visa ? And my residency application will continue to be processed ?
The confirmation email of lodgement of RV21 says you have to inform INZ when you leave the country but I don't find any tab or column where I can attach the cover letter for informing about my departure.
