Dear New Zealand Police,
I am writing to request the following information under the Official Information Act:
On Monday 17 January 2022 in Whangarei, a man alleged to be Brad Flutey was tasered by a male who was neither wearing any Police uniform nor carrying any tactical appointments.

Will the police please confirm with a yes or no answer if the male carrying and subsequently using the Taser is a sworn constabulary member.
For the purposes of the Official Information Act I am a New Zealand citizen residing in New Zealand.
