Annual National Maritime Security Assessment

Scott made this Official Information request to Ministry of Transport

The request was refused by Ministry of Transport.

From: Scott

Dear Ministry of Transport,

I would like to make a request for information relating to the Maritime Security Strategy 2020.

The strategy published on the Ministry website refers to the production of annual security assessments for informing the direction of cross-government maritime security planning:

"Maritime security governance, to be effective, has to maintain a strategic focus, coordinate actions of agencies in a cost effective and accountable way, and respond to emerging challenges and opportunities. To achieve this the system needs to be supported by an intelligence-led planning and reporting cycle that is built on regular (annual) assessment, planning and performance monitoring documents and processes"

I would like to request copies of

1) The most recent Annual National Maritime Security Assessment
2) The most recent Annual National Maritime Security Prevention and Response Campaign Plan

Yours faithfully,

Scott
