PCR Testing and the Flu

Chuck Schooner made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Ministry of Health should have responded by now (details and exceptions). You can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: Chuck Schooner

Dear Ministry of Health,

The CDC in the US will withdraw the PCR test because it cannot differentiate between the flu and Covid-19
How is the Ministry of Health determining cases in New Zealand?
Is it via PCR tests?
If so then every single policy being implemented based on high case numbers via PCR testing is flawed.
How many flu cases in NZ in 2021? Zero?

Yours faithfully,

Chuck Schooner

Chuck, your question is predicated on false information or at best a misunderstanding of the CDCs decision.

You might consider rewording it, because this information is already public.

Hi Chris, thanks for that. The Reuters article hasn’t fact checked anything and they as a fact checker are conflicted with the chairman and former CEO being tied to Pfizer as an investor and board member. More false tests means they can promote their experimental jab in his other company. The Reuters article actually says they are going to another method of testing to differentiate the viruses. To me that says the PCR test can’t differentiate does it not? Also it was tested by the courts in Portugal with the verdict referencing a study published by Oxford Academic in September on the correlation between 3,790 positive PCR tests and 1,941 SARS-CoV-2 isolates. The researchers found that at a cycle threshold (ct) of 25, the test was 70 percent reliable, a figure that dropped to 20 percent at 30 cycles, and just three percent at 35 cycles. That meant 97 percent were false positives, yet that was used “in most laboratories in the USA and Europe.” The judges also concluded that, “however, and more relevantly, there is no scientific data to suggest that low levels of viral RNA by RT-PCR equate to infection, unless the presence of infectious viral particles has been confirmed by laboratory culture methods.” So yeah PCR tests are useless. Here’s to a better 2022. Can you start fact checking MOH, Bloomfield and co who regularly lie, provide links that don’t work, obfuscate and get things wrong, tell different stories depending on who is asked. It’s now costing lives with children dying from a “safe and effective” jab.
