My individual Cycle threshold (CT)

Chirag Patel made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Chirag Patel to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Chirag Patel

Dear Ministry of Health,

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to all New Zealander's in these tough times, I understand that the Ministry is unable to release information regarding Cycle Threshold (CT) values, regarding individual members of the public.

However can you inform me, on what my Cycle Threshold is if I get tested at 25 Druces Road, Wiri, Auckland?

Also can you inform me whether the Ministry of Health has a constant Cycle threshold value to test the New Zealand public?

And at what level of Cycle threshold (CT) value does the Ministry of Health not go above to insure there are zero false positive cases?

And what brand and what businesses are the PCR testing instruments from?

Yours faithfully,

Chirag Patel

Note: In this request to the Institute of Environmental Science and Research Limited [ https://fyi.org.nz/request/15541-current... ] there was a response from Jill Vintiner (Signed Joint General Manager Health and Environment Group – Health, ESR) on 2 June 2021.

She stated in her response that the current cycle threshold value used to perform the PCR test for COVID19 was 40, and that ESR have no intention of changing their cycle threshold value cut-offs.
