Dr Vic Du Plessis
David Nicholas made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation
The request was refused by Accident Compensation Corporation.
From: David Nicholas
Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,
Please supply any and all information ACC hold on Dr Vic Du Plessis a Dunedin based Orthopedic Medical Physician.
I am particularly interested in finding out how many assessments this Doctor has carried out by year 2001 - 2014?
How many OIA requests have been made to gather data about this Doctor?
How many complaints has ACC has received about this Doctor? and what was the outcome of each complaint (if any)?
How much money has ACC paid this Doctor, by year 2001-2014, in salary bands of course?
What contract(s) does this Doctor hold with ACC?
Yours faithfully,
David Nicholas

In my view they are being a bit unreasonable insisting on an "original" of a short list of types of document. Merely providing a New Zealand postal address is usually enough to establish section 12 compliance.
Contact Lisa White directly and give her your physical address. You could phone or email (the email address FYI is using is here: https://www.fyi.org.nz/body/acc/view_email) so that your personal information doesn't appear on the website.

Wow isn't that shocking that they wait so long and then will only start the 20 days once they have confirmation from you that you are a NZ resident. More stall and delay tactics from ACC.
