Dear Ministry of Education,
I am requesting that all information regarding a school in Tauranga/Taupo, which was land held for use for Maori Schools and State Primary Schools pursuant under the Public Works Act 1928. I am trying to locate who the prior owners were of the school land prior to the acquisition to the Crown and any/all information held by yourselves regarding this property. The Certificate of Title Reference 454453, and S466207(Prior Reference). Street address 1/383 State Highway 1, Tauranga Taupo. Legal description being Lot 1 Deposited Plan 372602.

Thanks for the reply. As requested in my last reply, at this stage I would only require information/documents which can show who the previous owners of the property were. That is, prior to the property being owned by 'Her Majesty the Queen'.

Hi Talor

 

I have attached the official response releasing the information you
requested along with the first part of the information.

 

Due to the size of the PDF files, I will be sending 4 emails in total.

 

The school has been dealt with in 2 different parts and while your request
seems to relate to only one part, the gazette notice S466207 covers all
the areas so I have included information on all the areas. I have included
reports which have been written as part of the process of disposing of the
school as these have good summaries of the previous ownership. There may
be some replication of documents in the PDFs, I have tried to keep this to
a minimum.
