Dear New Zealand Police,

Kia ora Vince,

Thank you for your request below.

Unfortunately, a Police wide document search is not possible due to technical limitations for enterprise wide keyword searches, which would require a manual search across hundreds of individual folders. Your request, as it stands, is likely to require substantial collation and research.

Could I please ask that you provide a contact number to [New Zealand Police request email] so we can phone you to discuss your requirements. We will be better placed to provide you with a response if we can understand the context of your request which will allow us to identify an appropriate work area for response.

Ngā mihi

Tēnā koe Vince

I refer to your request of 12 December 2022 for the following information:

Any and all documents/communications/reports, including emails, that
mention the "VJM Publishing" website or Facebook page since December 2016

I have been asked to advise you that Police requires an extension of time
in which to respond to your request, pursuant to section 15A(1) of the
Official Information Act  1982 (OIA). Specifically, section 15A(1)(a), the
request necessitates a search through a large quantity of information and
meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with the
operations of the organisation, and section 15A(1)(b), consultations
necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time
limit.

Police requires until 10 March 2022 to provide a response to your request.
We are endeavouring to provide this to you as soon as possible.

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the OIA, to make a complaint to
an Ombudsman about this extension.

If you wish to discuss any aspect of your request with us, including this
decision, please feel free to contact
[1][email address].

Ngā mihi

Fiona
