In response to a previous OIA request to the University of Auckland available at https://fyi.org.nz/request/17448-mbchb-i... , the University of Auckland stated that the ranking calculation for applicants for MBChB General entry uses the mean and standard deviation values for the GPA, MMI and UCAT scores of general applicants. I would like to request further information in regard this process.
Please provide the following information regarding domestic applicants to the MBChB program through the general admission category. Please provide information for entrance in the previous two years (2020 and 2021 entrance), with data provided separately for FY and Graduate applicants.
1. Mean GPA for applicants (both FY and Graduate)
2. GPA standard deviation for applicants (both FY and Graduate)
3. Mean MMI score for applicants (both FY and Graduate)
4. MMI score standard deviation for applicants (both FY and Graduate)
5. Mean UCAT score for applicants (both FY and Graduate)
6. UCAT score standard deviation for applicants (both FY and Graduate)

I understand that MBChB offers for 2022 entrance will be released shortly. Hence, I would also like to request the same data for this year, i.e. for 2022 General entry into the MBChB program.

Dear Alistair,
I refer to your request of 15 December 2021. Unfortunately, consultations
necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper
response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
Accordingly, the University has extended the time limit for your request
until 15 February 2022 under section 15A of the Official Information Act.
This is the new maximum time limit for the University’s response - we will
respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable.
You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this extension.
