Thank you for your request regarding the Council’s Property Acquisition
and Disposal Policy which we received on 1st December 2021. We are pleased
to provide the following information in response to your request.

Has the Council assessed or received external advice on whether section 7
of the proposed Property Acquisition and Disposal Policy, available on
page 26 here:

is in line with section 21 of the Human Rights Act 1993 which prohibits
discrimination based on race, ethnic origin and national origin? If so, I
request a copy of the assessment or advice.

 

The Council did not seek external advice on section 7 of the Property
Acquisition and Disposals Policy.

As no assessment was made, we are unable to provide you with a copy of the
information you have requested in the second part of your question.
