Public Service Chief Executives from specified ethnicities

Mary Smith made this Official Information request to Public Service Commission

The request was partially successful.

From: Mary Smith

Dear Public Service Commission,

I would be grateful to know the following.

1. To the best of your knowledge, how many current or previous Chief Executives (or equivalent, i.e. "Tier 1 leaders") of Public Service departments or departmental agencies identify (or identified) their ethnicity as being from amongst any of the following ethnic groups: African, Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, or Pacific Peoples?

I'd like to know the 'all time' number (again to the best of your knowledge), so from the current day stretching back indefinitely - although I recognise that data will only exist up to a certain point in history.

2. What are the names of the people identified in question 1 above?

Thank you.

Yours faithfully,
Mary Smith
