Mark Davis - this process all looks straight forward on a physical claim, covered or not.

Why then with a COVERED claim like PTSD can ACC still not be able to make a decision on an ARC18 within 4 months? This is discrimination in action when a GP can sign off a claimant on PTSD grounds using the ACR18. SCU assigned it to the bin methinks as nothing happened for 7 weeks!

Thank you for this - will take it to the HDC - to show discrimination.

Well it should be straight forward.

Unfortunately getting information from ACC is like pulling teeth.

A slow painfull process.

Does ACC for one minute believe their reply ie. a copy of the front page of the procedures for actioning an ACC18 form is adequate?

Dear Koleti Vae'au,

Surely you realise that providing a copy of an electronic document is inadequate.

The document you provided obviously contains links to processes that ACC must do to action an ACC 18 form. (Highlighted in Blue)

I require a copy of the following procedures that are highlighted in the document provided by your self.

1. preparing, scanning and filing documents for VCF

2. Scanning documents using a MFD

3. Receiving or allocating claim or task in a STCC or branch.

As the cute little diagram you so thoughtfully provided shows the document you provided has several links.

I require a copy of the document "setting up weekly compensation"

I require a copy of "extending compensation due to incapacity".

I most certainly require a copy of the files identified by the button "Show all instructions".

On page 3 of your reply it shows step 3.

Review the incapacity information provided by the certifying medical practitioner. See how to "determine incapacity"

I require a copy of the document "determine incapacity"

& in step 4

See "Extend a weekly compensation entitlement". Approve medical incapacity.

I require a copy of the document "Extend a weekly compensation entitlement. .

Yours sincerely,

Mark Davis

Extracting information from ACc is definitely like pulling teeth.

Whilst I appreciate that ACC have provided further information; the additional information provided by ACC, simply show's further layers of procedure to be followed.

I am unsure whether the ACC is being deliberately obstructive, their staff simply do not comprehend plain english; or that their staff are so inadequately trained that they are incapable of printing out the complete policy and procedures that ACC must follow when an ARC18, ACC18 or eACC18 are submitted.
