Subject: Official Information request - CCTV footage of traffic incident

Dear Auckland Transport,

Could you please provide any available footage of a traffic incident that
occurred at the intersection of Chapel Road and Ti Rakau drive on Friday
21st May 2021 at approximately 21:30.

The incident was a collision between two cars the took place on the left
hand turning corner from Chapel Road in to Ti Rakau Drive. A collision
happened between a green car turning left through the give way
intersection from Chapel Road in to Ti Rakau Drive and a Red car coming
through the traffic lights.

Could any and all video or still image footage of this incident please be
provided.

Transport. I’m responsible for looking into your cctv request you made on
15/10/2021.

I checked with our operations centre and can confirm we don’t have any
footage of the incident. Our system can only hold footage for a maximum of
7 days before it is automatically overwritten.
