I would like to request what the NZ Govt contract with Pfizer restricts, specifically relating to:

1. COVID-19 vaccines from other competing pharmaceutical companies
2. COVID-19 prophylactic treatments (e.g. ivermectin/HCQ etc regardless of in/effectiveness)
3. COVID-19 non-prophylactic/hospitalised treatments (e.g. monoclonal antibodies etc)

Your below request has been has been withheld in full under section
9(2)(b)(ii) of the Official Information Act (the Act) where its release
would likely unreasonably prejudice the commercial position of the person
who supplied the information. Furthermore, they do not refer to the
purchase or use of other vaccines or therapeutics.

Please refer to the attached response for further information.  

 

Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be

I am sorry but you seem to have gotten this request confused with another. I am not requesting a copy of the full Pfizer contract. I am requesting to know any restrictions, if any, that the contract contains.

The terms and conditions outlined the in contract are commercially
sensitive, as noted in our previous response. However, the Ministry can
confirm that the contract does not refer to the purchase or use of other
vaccines or therapeutics.

 

Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to ask the Ombudsman to
review any decisions made under this request. The Ombudsman may be
