Innovation and Employment (the Ministry) requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act):

 

I wish to know the 165000 immigrants who are eligible for residency their
nationality in percentage-wise or total number.

 

Additional to that how many Indian immigrants have come in the last 3
years from 29 September 2021.

 

The Ministry has decided to extend the period of time available to respond
to your request under section 15A(1)(b) of the Act, as consultations
necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper
response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

 

You can now expect a response to your request on or before 29 November
2021.

 

You have the right, under section 28 of the Act, to ask the Ombudsman to
review our decision to extend the time available to respond to your
request.
