Why was this target chosen?
I’m aware the target was to be compatible with the 1.5 deg warming goal, I’m seeking information relating to why methane’s target is below the point of zero warming and what advice was received on the trade offs between reducing methane vs long lived gases to be compatible with the 1.5 deg goal.
