Kia ora Sarah,

Thank you for your below Official Information Act request, dated 14 August
2021. Your request asks:

 1. How many ACC staff in total were made redundant during the recent
restructure?
 2. Please break down this information by geographic location and job
type.

Before we response to your request, we would like to clarify exactly what
information you are after.

ACC has been through several restructures recently, covering most of our
groups.  We have interpreted your request to mean ‘How many frontline
staff were made redundant during the implementation of ACC’s new case
management system, Next Generation Case Management (NGCM).’ Can you please
confirm our interpretation of your request, as above, is correct?

The implementation of NGCM began in 2017 and was rolled out in three
phases. Are you looking for redundancy figures for all three phases or
simply the redundancy figures for the most recent phase? Can you please
confirm the period you are seeking the figures for?

Could you please respond, confirming exactly what information you are
after, by close of business Monday 23 August.

We would be happy to answer any questions you may have if you would like
to discuss this further.

Ngâ mihi,
