Subject: Official Information Act request - Budget and formula
Dear Ministry of Social Development,
1.Given that Child Youth and Family must work out its budget for its services to the community and children in care and due to the fact Child Youth an Family do not keep statistics on children in care with health issues, percentage of children uplifted returned etc how does CYF then work out its monetary formula to provide those services?
2.Given that Child Youth and Family releases its number of abuse cases each year, many of which are proven unfounded allegations, how does Child Youth and Family validate its view that child abuse is growing(emotional, physical, sexual abuse) in this country?
Yours faithfully,
Leah Trass
