NZ Health Justice made this Official Information request to Waitemata District Health Board

The request was successful.

From: NZ Health Justice

Dear Waitemata District Health Board,

We seek a copy of the most recent performance management report you have received from HealthCare NZ Limited.

Furthermore, please provide us with 1) a definition of "missed care" as it applies to HealthCare NZ Limited, and 2) the rate of missed care reported by HealthCare NZ over the past 12 months.

We also seek clarification as to how much funding, if any, HealthCare NZ Limited receives from Waitemata DHB for missed care.

Yours faithfully,

NZ Health Justice

Dear requestor

Re: Official Information Request – Performance Management report from
HealthCare NZ Limited

I am writing to acknowledge your official information request dated 25 May
2021.

Also for your information, we did not receive this request directly and
was not aware it was in the FYI website, we only found out yesterday.

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and, in
any event, no later than 22 June 2021. We will contact you if an extension
is required.

Currently Auckland DHB and Auckland Regional Public Health Service are
receiving a number of COVID related Official Information Act requests, at
a time when the staff who would be able to inform a response are committed
to the national rollout of the COVID vaccine.  This may mean that
responding to your request within the statutory 20 day period will be
compromised.

Please note that, like other DHBs across New Zealand, Auckland DHB has
adopted a model of proactive disclosure which sees OIA responses
publically available on our website approximately one month after they
have been released.  If you believe that there are any special reasons why
proactive disclosure should not apply to our response to you, we will be
happy to consider this.

Kind regards

Priscilla

Dear NZ Health Justice,

Thank you for your Official Information Act request, received 25 May.

We will provide a formal response to your request within the 20 working
days allowed under the Act.

If for any reason we are unable to meet this deadline and need to extend
the timeframe for your response, we will be in touch to advise why this
has been necessary and to indicate when your response will be ready.

Please note that Waitematā DHB supports the open disclosure of information
to assist community understanding of how we are delivering publicly-funded
healthcare. This includes the proactive publication of anonymised Official
Information Act responses on our website from 10 working days after they
have been released.

If you feel that there are good reasons why your response should not be
made publicly available, we will be happy to consider this.

Kind regards

Anna
