Dear Auckland Transport,

I am writing to request the cctv footage, of the dominion road and
balmoral road intersection in the South-East corner between 8:20pm and
8:30pm on 16 May 2021.

An unknown vehicle moved through a give away sign from Balmoral Road onto
Dominion Road straight into the side of my vehicle, a grey Holden Barina
(GJJ813) and proceeded to drive away leaving me with no information.

I would like to find out the plate number of the car which had hit the
Holden

Good morning Evie,

 

On 16 May 2021 you asked for CCTV footage from 16 May 2021 at the Dominion
Road and Balmoral Road intersection between 8.20 pm to 8.30 pm.

 

I'm sorry to hear about your accident.

 

Footage has been saved from the camera in the area, however, the camera is
and not facing the intersection (see the image below) which means that the
incident has not been captured.

We are therefore declining your request under section 17(e) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as the
information requested doesn't exist (ie. footage that captures the
incident/accident).

 

 

We understand that this isn’t the outcome you hoped for.
