Subject: Official Information request - Dates and Times of Visiting Justices in Prisons.

Dear Ministry of Justice,

I would like to request information about when Visiting Justices are scheduled to visit Prisons throughout New Zealand in the upcoming year.

According to the department of corrections (https://fyi.org.nz/request/14771/respons... ) Visiting Justice schedules are sent to prisons nation-wide by the Ministry of Justice, and this rosters are sent out in advance and appear to span across multiple months.

I would like to make an OIA request to view these rosters (if available) for the 12 months from June 2021 to May 2022, if possible. If the roster is not available for the full time (for example, if the roster only extends 6 months into the future), then I would like to view what schedule is available. If, for example, there exists a set schedule for June to October, and a provisional roster from November to February, it would be good to see both, with the distinction between the two clearly marked.

If available, I would like to see the Visiting Justice roster across all prisons in New Zealand. If this is impossible (for whatever reason), then I would like to see the rosters for all prison for which such information is available. I would like to view both the dates and (to the extent possible) times that Visiting Justices are scheduled to visit prisons.
