For Community Mental Health; Child and adolescent metal health; and (Te Haika) Mental Health Crisis response:
• Number of distinct new entries/cases per month, by age group (five year bands if possible*), 2015 – 2020 calendar year
• Number of total new entries/cases per month, by age group (five year bands), 2015 – 2020 calendar year
• Number of distinct cases open at month end, by age group (five year bands), 2015 – 2020 calendar year
• Number of distinct exits per month, by age group (five year bands if possible*), 2015 – 2020 calendar year

Kia ora Maria Moller,

That language is quite technical and not very clear. My bad!

Distinct is the number of people. Because people can be discharged and reenter the system multiple times (even within a month) I'd like to make sure that that are only counted once. So the person is counted per time period rather than total number of entries. If possible. If this is too tricky I'm happy to have total entries.

I think this would be more important if I was asking for it by year rather than month because the likelihood of this happening is higher.
