    Dear Mark,

I refer to your request of 23 February 2021 for information about 2021
admissions to the University’s MBChB programme. The University’s response
 follows.

Note that, for students applying for the MBChB in 2021, a special Clinical
Selection Test (CST) was conducted for the core courses that had an online
exam in 2020. Final grades for CHEM 110, BIOSCI 107 and POPLHLTH 111 in
2020 were generated as a composite grade with 40% of the original course
grade and 60% of the Clinical Selection Test. The GPA statistics provided
below for the FY General Category were created using these composite
 grades.

The GPA scores for the successful applicants with the lowest GPA, UCAT,
and MMI scores and the unsuccessful applicants with the highest GPA, UCAT,
and MMI scores have been provided as ranges to protect their privacy under
section 9(2)(a) of the Official Information Act. Quartile and median GPA
statistics have been provided to three significant figures.
