COVID-19 'Be Kind' and 'Unite Against COVID-19' LED Trailer Road Signs

A Croft made this Official Information request to Auckland Transport

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for A Croft to read a recent response and update the status.

From: A Croft

Dear Auckland Transport,

I'm writing to you regarding the LED road sign trailers used during 2020, mainly during Auckland's two lockdowns, and whilst under Alert Levels 2 to 4. The messages displayed included "Be Kind" and "Unite Against COVID-19".

I'm seeking information to answer the following questions:

- Who was responsible for the trailers? i.e. AT or NZTA
- Parked road signage requires AT permission to be displayed. What were the steps taken by the applicant for display of the signs?
- What were the conditions for granting use of the trailer signage? Were there any breaches to these conditions?
- Were the terms for using the trailers outside of those typically granted? Did they have special permissions?
- These trailers were parked all around Auckland. Please supply all the locations of where these trailers were parked.

Yours faithfully,

A Croft
