general category applications to the University’s BOptom programme. The
University’s response follows.

 

“1. How many applicants were waitlisted for BOptom program for 2020?”

“2. How many of those waitlisted for BOptom program finally offered a
place to BOptom program in 2020?”

“3. How many applicants are waitlisted for BOptom program in 2021?”

“4. When are the waitlist offers for the 2021 BOptom programme sent out?”
Waitlist offers for the 2021 BOptom programme are sent out progressively,
until the day prior to Orientation (19/02/2021).

“5. What was the lowest GPA of the applicants that were successful in
being accepted from the waitlist in 2020 for the 2020 BOptom programme.”

5.51-5.75. The GPA of the successful waitlist applicant with the lowest
GPA has been provided in a range rather than as the precise figure, to
protect the privacy of that applicant under section 9(2)(a) of the
Official Information Act 1982.

 

You have the right to make a complaint to an Ombudsman if you are
dissatisfied with this response.
