Dear Mr Body

I'm trying to identify what information we are able to provide in response
to your request.  The hospital discharge data the Ministry collects uses
the International Statistical Classification of Diseases to classify the
procedures performed during a hospital stay (currently we use
ICD-10-AM-VI).   However there is no grouping in this classification for
"Pelvic reconstruction" procedures.  As such, could you please provide
some clarification as to what procedures you are interested in.

Please contact me if you have any questions.

Dear Ministry of Health,

Thanks you for your response. I am defining a pelvic reconstruction as removal of any of the ilium, pubis and/or ischium, without amputation of the associated leg followed by restoration of use of the leg by reconstructing the pelvis using metal implants. I am sorry I don't know the ICD code.

Yours faithfully,

Dave Body
