Dear Government Communications Security Bureau,

I would like to request, under the Official Information Act, a copy of all information the GCSB holds on the recent cyber attacks on the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX). I would also like a copy of the statement regarding the privacy and security of New Zealand before and after the attacks occured and a statement with information recomending what the NZX does in future to better protect itself.

Dear Connor,

You have requested a copy of all information the GCSB holds on the recent cyber attacks on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. As your request is worded currently it would involve substantial collation and research to find all relevant information and we would likely need to extend the time limit for an answer to be given.

Could we limit your request to all information provided to the Minister of the GCSB regarding the cyber attacks? The briefings to the Minister provide an overview of all key information, and are at a classification level where we would be able to release the documents (with some redactions).
