Qualifications make up of DOC's OIA team.

T. Benseman made this Official Information request to Department of Conservation

Response to this request is long overdue. By law Department of Conservation should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.

From: T. Benseman

Dear Department of Conservation,

in a recent email from Robert Whitbourne, he stated

"All OIA requests to DoC or Ngā Whenua Rāhui staff are handled by a specific team. I've passed your request on to that team, so you should receive a confirmation of your OIA request being received next week. "

My questions are;
What number of staff and contractors/consultants make up this "team". What are their qualifications? What is the annual cost. How many vehicles are they supplied with. What is the itemised budget summary for the past two years. What number of email contacts does this team have with; OSPRI; Forest and Bird; Beef + Lamb NZ Ltd, during the past two years. What standing orders, guidelines or similar are the 'team' working to when replying to OIARs and which agencies do these guidelines or similar come from.

Thanking you,
T. Benseman

Dear Andrew Martin,

When do you think you'll be able to supply the rest of the information? Pay attention this time. Much of what was sent was not relevant.
