The request was successful.
      From: F. Landis

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
What is the law situation in New Zealand regarding listening to, recording and sharing of air traffic control radio voice communications? In particular, would it be illegal for a research/university project to record ATC voice communications for automatic transcription research purpose? Which businesses or what license is needed to be allowed to listen to, record and process ATC transmissions?
Yours faithfully,
F. Landis
