Audit of Arts Organisations in Christcurch
Barnaby Bennett made this Official Information request to Minister for Arts, Culture, and Heritage
This request has been withdrawn by the person who made it. There may be an explanation in the correspondence below.
From: Barnaby Bennett
Dear Minister of Arts, Culture, and Heritage,
Significant and expensive decisions are being made around performing arts facilities in Christchurch as part of the post-quake rebuild process. I have been informed that an audit (or document that performs a similar function of surveying organisations and individuals) of the existing facilities and future needs is being, or has been, done by MCH. I request that information that has been gathered about arts organisations and their facilities in post-quake Christchurch be made public. I'm confident this will inform a more nuanced public discussion and lead to higher quality, and more cost effective outcomes for Christchurch.
Yours faithfully,
Barnaby Bennett
