Please provide the following information under the OIA for domestic MAPAS and general category applicants to the Medical (MBChB) program at UoA for the last year's (2019) intake:
(1) Number of MAPAS seats available;
(2) Number of MAPAS seats filled (how many FY and how many graduates);
(3) Number of MAPAS applicants (how many FY and how many graduates);
(4) Lowest GPA for successful MAPAS applicants (for both FY and graduate);
(5) Highest GPA for unsuccessful MAPAS applicants (for both FY and graduate);
(6) Lowest GPA for successful general applicants (for both FY and graduate);
(7) Highest GPA for unsuccessful general applicants (for both FY and graduate);

5 FY; 5.25-5.49 Grad
"(5) Highest GPA for unsuccessful MAPAS applicants (for both FY and
graduate);"
4.75 FY; ; 5.25-5.49 Grad
"(6) Lowest GPA for successful general applicants (for both FY and
graduate);"
8 FY; 7.50-7.74 Grad
"(7) Highest GPA for unsuccessful general applicants (for both FY and
graduate);"
8.5 FY; 8.50-9.00 Grad
Notes on terminology:
Available Seats: The numbers of available seats for domestic programme
total, MAPAS, RRAS, UTAS, are as specified in the Programme and course
limitations

The number of available seats for General category is domestic programme
total with MAPAS, RRAS, and UTAS, numbers deducted.
Applicants: The numbers of applicants.
Filled seats: The numbers of filled seats are based on MBCHB Year 2 (MBCHB
200 Level) enrolment for each academic year.
Successful GPA - lowest: Successful applicants are applicants who were
given offers of place in the programme, regardless of final enrolment.
Calculation done based on GPA of interviewed and successful applicants.
First Year GPA calculated based on final Core course grades for all
admission categories. MAPAS Graduate GPA calculated based on last 2-year
GPA as provided in the recommendations prepared by the MAPAS team for the
MBChB Admissions Subcommittee.
Unsuccessful GPA - highest: Unsuccessful applicants here refers to
applicants who attended interview, but were not offered places in the
programme.
Graduate GPA scores have been provided in a range to protect the privacy
of individual applicants under section 9(2)(a) of the Privacy Act. You
have the right to make a complaint about this response to an Ombudsman.
