New Zealand Police

Kia ora Liam
I refer to your request of 8 June 2020 for information relating to
UAV's/drones.

I have been asked to let you know that Police requires an extension of
time in which to respond to your request, pursuant to section 15A of the
Official Information Act 1982, because the request necessitates
consultations such that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably
be made within the original time limit.

Police require until 20 July 2020  to provide a substantive response to
your request.

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act
1982, to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision to extend
the time limit for deciding upon your request.

Kind regards

Hannah
