This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Tania Te Whenua to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Tania Te Whenua

Dear Ministry of Justice,

Over the past three years:

a) How many Maori women (and what percentage of the total number of applicants) applied for Tier 2 roles or above?

b) How many Maori women (and what percentage of the total number of successful applicants) were successfully appointed to the jobs which they applied for at Tier 2 or above?

This question is being asked of all public sector departments.

Yours faithfully,

Ministry of Justice

Good afternoon Tania,

Acknowledging receipt of your Official Information Act request for information on the number of Maori women who have applied for, and were successfully appointed to, Tier 2 roles. Including the percentage of total applicants and the percentage of successful applications over the past three years.
We have passed this onto the relevant business unit for response and you can expect a response on or before the 29th May 2020.

Please note that as the State Services Commission (SSC) is responsible for appointing Tier 1 roles, the SSC will respond to that aspect of your request.

Ngā mihi,
