I acknowledge receipt of your Official Information Act (OIA) request
below, received by NZ Police on 28 April 2020.

unprecedented circumstances as we respond to Covid-19. This will have a
severe impact on our ability to respond to requests for information under

Dear New Zealand Police,

This OIA was due on the 26 May 2020. It is now 3 June. As this matter has been the subject of quite some scrutiny I cannot imagine why you cannot provide the information in a timely manner.

The IPCA have already completed their investigation into this matter and concluded that the community checkpoints were unlawful.

Can you please provide a time frame as to when this information will be provided.

Yours faithfully,

H Campbell
