    Dear H Campbell

I acknowledge receipt of your Official Information Act (OIA) request
below, received by NZ Police on 28 April 2020.
As you are aware, Police are needing to redeploy staff in the face of
unprecedented circumstances as we respond to Covid-19. This will have a
severe impact on our ability to respond to requests for information under
the OIA in a timely fashion. However, we recognise your request is a
matter of high public interest, and we will do our best to respond to you
 as soon as we can.
Thank you for your understanding.

    Dear New Zealand Police,
This OIA was due on the 26 May 2020. It is now 3 June. As this matter has been the subject of quite some scrutiny I cannot imagine why you cannot provide the information in a timely manner.
The IPCA have already completed their investigation into this matter and concluded that the community checkpoints were unlawful.
Can you please provide a time frame as to when this information will be provided.
Yours faithfully,
H Campbell
        New Zealand Police

    Kia ora H Campbell

Please see attached the reply to your OIA, received by NZ Police
28/04/2020.  Please accept our apologies for the delay.

 Kind regards
