Can you please provide for the Raw Milk RCS - Farm Dairy Operators register, a complete list of all the Additions, Removals, and Suspensions long with dates of the changes with reasons for any removals and suspensions.

Please provide the response in a machine readable form such as comma separated variable (.csv)

Dear Thomas Turnbull (Tom),

I strongly disagree with the reasons given for refusing my request:

1) I was not asking for the already publicly available information. I was asking for the list of historical changes to that registry, so your refusal on grounds of the Official Information Act (hereafter OIA) Section 18(d) does not stand.

2) I'm an IT consultant with sufficient experience to know that it would is a trivial exercise to dump the requested records from the database comprising the records sought. In addition the data requested covers a period less then 5 years, and of a minimal volume and thus should be reasonably available for retrieval. Therefore your reference to OIA Section18(f) also does not apply. Also Given that MPI is the Dept responsible for food safety, and provider of the register from which this data is requested, rejection based on OIA Section 18(g)(i) also fails.

3) The data requested relates to information that has mostly been made public already so for the most part the general commercial sensitivity is not a factor. With respect to the specific reasons for removals or suspensions, the information relates to food safety and whilst there may be a commercial sensitivity, it is also of broad public interest - so your reference to OIA Section 9(2)(b)(ii) is at best dubious.

I hereby ask you to reconsider my request and provide the requested data with the following amendment that commercially prejudicial details may be redacted.
