Any information relating to requests to approve Apple Watch as a medical device
Mac Dalton made this Official Information request to Ministry of Health
The request was refused by Ministry of Health.
From: Mac Dalton
Dear Ministry of Health,
In other jurisdictions the Apple Watch (Series 4 and 5) has been approved for use to produce ECGs.
I am curious as to whether this approval process is underway in New Zealand. As such, I'm seeking any relevant information you can provide me relating to this. For example, I'm interested in any applications, responses to applications or correspondence related to any applications.
Cheers,
Mac
