Can you please supply the following Toxicology Analysis Reports:

T6025
What was the reason for testing the mice recovered from the Clinton BFOB Southland 1080 operation with skin and tails removed as opposed to including the skin and tails for testing the mice recovered from the Caitlins?
Does 1080 bind to skin? Does 1080 bind to muscle? As confirmed from Landcare previously, the accredited test method used in NZ does not account for 1080 binding. What test method does Landcare use to recover 1080 bound for research purposes?
When testing biological samples do you blend the sample first, mixing different tissue types?

found in mice

In response to your questions, which are italicised below, we can provide
the following information:
What was the reason for testing the mice recovered from the Clinton BFOB
Southland 1080 operation with skin and tails removed as opposed to
including the skin and tails for testing the mice recovered from the
Caitlins?
For the Clinton operation the skin and tails were removed because they are
difficult to homogenise and residues found in the tail and skin are likely
to be minimal. For the samples from Catlins DOC specifically requested we
not remove the skin and tails, and we were able to homogenise them as
whole bodies.
Does 1080 bind to skin? Does 1080 bind to muscle? As confirmed from
Landcare previously, the accredited test method used in NZ does not
account for 1080 binding. What test method does Landcare use to recover
1080 bound for research purposes?
No, 1080 does not bind to skin or muscle. Our current method extracts 1080
from various matrices and we run quality control samples to check method
recovery with each sample set.

No, we keep different tissue types separate.
