Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,
Tena Koe
I would be grateful if you could provide an update on when the Parent Category visa will be re-opened for EOI / applications? We were led to believe there would be an update in the first half of 2019. (ref: https://fyi.org.nz/request/9443-update-c... ) It is now October, 3 years since the category was closed for 2 years.
3 years is a long time for a son to be apart from his parents and sister, too long for grandparents not to see their only grandchildren growing and to shower them with love. Whanau is the most important thing to me. If we are apart we are not complete. I miss them every hour of every day. Life is too short for something as important as this to be put on hold.
He maha nga mihi
Yours faithfully,
Will Pentelow
